Ceremonies in Gloucestershire

The government announcement (23 June 2020) stated that marriage and civil partnership ceremonies can resume from Saturday 4 July 2020. The government has indicated that up to 30 people may be permitted in the ceremony room subject to:

The venue and the room being available for use and suitably risk assessed as COVID secure and the number of people in the room is compliant with social distancing rules.

We will be contacting couples in priority order if these restrictions affect your planned ceremony date.

Please note due to the high number of couples who have had their ceremony postponed this year and need to reschedule, we are unable to offer new ceremony bookings until January 2021.

Renewal of Vows

A Renewal of Vows ceremony is perfect for married couples who wish to celebrate their marriage and reaffirm their vows through a personalised ceremony to mark a special occasion.

These ceremonies are an excellent way of celebrating anniversaries of any kind or ideal if you have married abroad and wish to celebrate your marriage with friends and family on your return. We will work with you to ensure your personal, bespoke ceremony creates personal memories that last a lifetime.

Ceremonies can be held at a registration office or at any of Gloucestershire's wonderful approved venues.

A Renewal of Vows ceremony does not carry any legal status and cannot contain any religious references.
