New Online Booking System Launching

A new and improved way to view and manage your ceremony booking launches on Thursday 12th March. 

We’re launching a brand new online booking system to make arranging your Ceremony easier, faster, and more convenient. This includes a new Customer Portal and changes to the way you view and manage your ceremony bookings.

 

Why are you making this change?


We have taken the step to review and modernise the system we use. We hope to simplify many of our processes and enhance the experience for customers with more self-service options.

 

With the new system, you will be able to:


•    Book ceremonies online, with a new and simpler way of booking notice appointments and submitting ceremony wording 
•    See available dates and times instantly
•    Get immediate confirmation of your booking
•    Easily change or cancel your appointment yourself if your plans change

The new online system is designed to give you a smoother experience, whenever you need to access any of the services that Gloucestershire Registration Service offers.

We understand that online booking isn’t right for everyone, so we will continue to offer appointment and ceremony bookings by calling our team on 01452 425060. Our staff will be happy to help you. 

 

If you have a ceremony booked with us – what this means for you


Top Tip: Our new system goes live on Thursday 12th March. We recommend waiting to use the new booking system. Once the new system is live you will receive an email with your login details, making it quicker and easier to manage bookings in your new Ceremony Portal.

Key dates to be aware of: From Tuesday 3rd March to Wednesday 11th  March, you will not be able to make any changes to your customer account while we update the system and prepare for the launch of the new booking service.

 

Ceremony Choices – Choices Part 1 and Ceremony Arrangements

This is where you submit your promises, vows and readings, and give other key information required for your ceremony.

•    If you have already submitted your choices, do not worry about it, we have added the information to your ceremony script.

•    If you haven’t yet submitted your ceremony choices, we recommend waiting for the launch of our new system, where you’ll be able to use the improved Ceremony Choices feature within the new Customer Portal from Thursday 12 March. This will give you the best and most streamlined experience.

 

In the week before the new booking system launches (3rd – 12th March)


Your current customer account will be unavailable from Tuesday 3rd March.


Notice Appointment Bookings – Gloucestershire Customers Only

•    If you already have notice appointments booked then your appointments are unaffected.

•    If you have not booked your notices yet, you will be able to do it from your ceremony portal on Thursday 12th March 

 

Ceremony Fees

•    You will be unable to make any payments from Tuesday 3rd March. If you are marrying from 1st June onwards, please wait until your new customer portal is live on Thursday 12th March and you can make payments on there.

You will receive a welcome email from Gloucestershire Registration Service providing account information and login instructions for your new Customer Portal. Please note that you will not be able to access your old account.
