Cheltenham Registration Office

The Cheltenham Registration Office is conveniently located close to the main shopping centre of our famous and beautiful spa town in the midst of the Cotswolds. Although in the centre of Cheltenham, easy access is gained from the excellent motorway links and there is a public 'pay and display' car park next to the building. A number of fine hotels are within close proximity for guests wishing to stay and enjoy the lovely gardens and surrounding tourist areas.

The George Room (Cheltenham) has a maximum occupancy of up to 35 people to include 2 registration officers, the couple and no more than 31 guests.

We also offer statutory ceremonies, for the bride and groom and two adult witnesses.

Statutory ceremonies are held in the statutory room which has a maximum occupancy of up to 6 people, to include 2 registration officers, the couple and no more than 2 adult witnesses.

The ceremony rooms and waiting area are housed on the first floor of a County Council building and a lift is available allowing good access for the disabled and elderly.
